Forestry / Landscape Plants
Lodders Boomkwekerijen BV produces both deciduous and coniferous wood for the European market, grown in accordance with the European guidelines and Dutch law (Seeds and Planting Materials Act).
Forest plants and landscape plants are supplied as bare roots and in containers. If necessary, with the required certificates (Dutch-native or Dutch-origin).
All plants that we deliver are subject to the supervision of NAKTuinbouw, which rates the quality and origin of these plants and checks it via inspections. Naturally, our plants are grown in a sustainable way.
Hedge Plants
The hedges in our landscape are of immense value to nature. They often form an ecological connection zone. A large part of the hedges and wooden fences in nature have disappeared throughout the years. Partly due to the disappearance of these landscape elements, but also the hedges in private gardens, birds, insects, and mammals find it increasingly harder to find shelter and food. Lodders Boomkwekerijen BV grows hedge plants in all sizes, both as bare roots and in containers. For DIY centres and garden centres, Lodders Boomkwekerijen BV has developed a number of special concepts

Ornamental Shrubs / Flowering Shrubs
A large assortment of woody plants that, because of their flowers, leafs, and/or fruits, can add value to garden, park, and landscape. These bushes are also of great value to birds and insects.

Saplings & Feathered Whips
Special assortment of selected plants, grown at a distance and/or on a bamboo stick. These plants stay at our nursery at least 2 years longer than usual. This results in heavy-quality feathered plants that can be used for special purposes. The plants can for example be used to create heavy hedges or to breed standard trees.

Rootstock / Stems
Good starting material is very important to every grower. After all, starting material is the basis of every growth process and it determines the final result. Sorting the plants that are suitable as rootstock/stems for the sapling growth requires craftsmanship. We have years of experience in this field, which enables us to supply you with high-quality starting material.

Containerplanten
To extend the planting season, a large part of our assortment is also grown in pots and containers. Forest plants, hedge plants, ornamental shrubs, saplings, and feathered whips all available in containers. We work towards having a nice assortment in containers throughout the year.
